1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Griha Vastu web application (app.retrogradearc.com), the Griha Vastu Android application, or any related services operated by RetroGrade Arc ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Griha Vastu provides the following digital services:
- Vastu Shastra analysis and PDF reports
- AI-assisted Vastu floor plan analysis
- Astrological birth chart analysis
- Numerological profile analysis
- AstroVastu combined analysis and reports
- Expert consultation booking (via Wix Bookings, a third-party platform)
- Bundled report packages
3. Important Disclaimer
Vastu Shastra, Astrology, and Numerology are ancient Indian knowledge systems. Our analyses and reports represent professional interpretation based on traditional principles and computational algorithms. They are:
- NOT a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, structural engineering, or architectural advice
- Provided for informational and guidance purposes only
- Subject to individual interpretation and may not apply universally
We make no guarantee that following our recommendations will produce any specific outcome. Any decisions you make based on our reports are entirely your own responsibility.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, software, algorithms, report templates, analysis frameworks, logos, and branding associated with "Griha Vastu" and "RetroGrade Arc" are the exclusive intellectual property of RetroGrade Arc. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our reports or content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our application
- Resell or commercially exploit reports generated by our services
- Use our brand name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission
You retain ownership of any floor plan images or personal data you upload to our platform.
5. User Account
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and session
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services
- You agree to provide accurate and truthful information
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice
6. Payments
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise stated
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card or banking details
- For international cards, amounts are charged in INR and converted to your local currency by your bank or card issuer
- Prices may vary based on your geographic location
- GST (where applicable) will be applied as required by Indian law

8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious files, scripts, or content to our platform
- Attempt to compromise, hack, or disrupt our systems or servers
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from our platform
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use our services to generate reports for commercial resale or redistribution
- Attempt to circumvent any payment or access controls
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetroGrade Arc shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Decisions made in reliance on our reports or analyses
- Service interruptions, technical errors, or data loss beyond our reasonable control
- Actions or failures of third-party services (Razorpay, Brevo, Railway, Wix, Google)
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our services. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services with or without notice. We are not liable for any disruption to third-party services that affect our availability.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our platform integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Wix Bookings (consultations), and Brevo (email). We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party platforms. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in West Bengal, India.

13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
14. Professional / Consultant Tiers (Pro & Studio)
We offer a subscription-based consultant platform for professional Vastu and astrology practitioners, on two tiers: Pro (16-direction & 32-pada grid reports, generated on our standard branding and knowledge base) and Studio (premium reports, plus your own white-label branding and your own editable copy of the knowledge base). If you access or use either tier, the following additional terms apply:
- Your use is also governed by our separate Consultant Terms of Service, which you must accept before using the consultant portal. Where the Consultant Terms differ from these general Terms, the Consultant Terms govern your professional use.
- Subject to an active subscription, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to generate reports for your own clients, with the features of your then-current tier. This is the only exception to the prohibitions on commercial resale and redistribution in Sections 4 and 8; you may deliver finished reports to your own clients but may not otherwise resell, sublicense, or redistribute the platform or its content.
- The Vastu analysis engine, the report structure, the software, and the knowledge-base content we supply remain our exclusive property. On the Studio tier you may edit your own copy of the knowledge base: content we seed into it (and any derivative of it) remains ours and is licensed to you for use only within the platform; original content you independently author remains yours, and you grant us a licence to host and process it to generate your reports. No ownership of the underlying engine, software, or seeded knowledge base is transferred to you.
- You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, bulk-extract, export, or copy out the knowledge base (including any editable copy provided to you) or the engine, or use them to build a competing product.
- Report usage is measured in credits (1 credit = ₹1; a grid report costs 1 credit and a premium report costs 5 credits). Each billing cycle your plan grants a set number of credits, and you may also purchase additional credits at any time. Credits have no cash value, are redeemable only for generating reports within the platform, are non-refundable, and — while your subscription is active — do not expire and carry over between cycles. If your subscription lapses, credits are frozen and forfeited after a 30-day grace period unless you re-subscribe. Credit grants, the credit cost of a report, cancellation, downgrade, and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- On downgrade or cancellation, higher-tier features (premium reports, custom branding, knowledge-base editing) stop being available and new reports use our default branding and knowledge base; reports you already generated remain accessible with the branding and content in effect when they were created.
- We may suspend or terminate consultant access immediately for breach of these Terms or the Consultant Terms, without refund.
