Remedy

Cut through the floor just at the bottom of the entrance with a floor cutter and insert a 1mm thick and 1inch wide aluminium strip inside the cut floor and close it with cement. Alternatively, apply a 4-inch wide blue tape on the floor across the entrance .

The 360° circle divides into 32 padas of 11.25° each; N8 spans 33.75° – 45°. Entrances are always judged on this 32-pada ring — a door a few degrees either side can fall in a different pada with a different result, which is why an accurate floor plan matters more than a rough guess.
