Remedy

Cut through the floor just at the bottom of the entrance with a floor cutter and insert a 1mm thick and 1inch wide aluminium strip inside the cut floor and close it with cement. Alternatively, apply a 4-inch wide blue tape on the floor across the entrance .

How the pada is found: stand at the exact centre of the home and measure the compass bearing to the middle of the main door. The 360° circle divides into 32 padas of 11.25° each; N5 spans 0° – 11.25°. Entrances are always judged on this 32-pada ring — a door a few degrees either side can fall in a different pada with a different result, which is why an accurate floor plan matters more than a rough guess.
